Fireworks, School Bus Demolition Derby and a Marching Band Highlight "I Love America Night" at Riverhead Raceway, Saturday, August 25th by Bob FInan This Saturday, August 25th, Riverhead Raceway will be presenting a spectacular and very special event of both fireworks and a huge School Bus Demolition Derby. The Demolition Derby, which was rained out last Saturday, will now the join a beautiful fireworks display which is part of the racetrack's annual tradition of I Love America Night. Children will be given American flags to help wave on all the fun that will be taking place on the track. All this will be preceded by four fantastic NASCAR racing divisions consisting of NASCAR Modifieds, Figure 8's, Late Models, Chargers and Legends. To start things off will be the Long Island Drum and Bugle Corps, a 25 piece marching band which hails out of Sayville, L.. I. Altogether this will all create a beautiful evening designed to honor and pay tribute to our wonderful country. Patriotism and lots of American fun will be the theme and the purpose at Riverhead Raceway this Saturday, Aug. 25th. The show starts at 5:30 PM.
