.. 2012 Season At Riverhead Raceway To Close Out With Twi-Light Enduro Program Saturday, September 29th At 4:00 PM The curtain will come down on the 63rd year of racing at Barbara & Jim Cromarty's Riverhead Raceway when they present the annual season ending twilight Enduro program this coming Saturday September 29th at 4:00 pm. A full card featuring the Grand and 4/6-Cylinder Truck classes will be presented. In the Grand ranks James Charrier, David Antos and the racing Phys. Ed teacher Greg Zaleski are all hoping to score the final Grand Enduro win of the season. Other drivers hoping to visit victory lane are Steve Mastro, Joe Parcelluzzi, Kevin McCarthy, Bob Engelfried and others. Over in the 4/6-Cylinder Truck ranks Robin Vollmoeller, Greg Harris, Hank Hallock and Don Nelson have all graced the winner's circle and hope to do so again Saturday, while drivers like Ben Gregor, David Walters and the father and son tandem of Andy & Dale Owen hope to collect a checker flag. The 2012 8-Cylinder Enduro action has seen the likes of Dominic Ranieri, Dege Russell, Anthony Pizzo and Jim Laird Jr. all collect victories over the summer and they'll be joined by the likes of Donald "Woot" Lawrence, Bob Baker and many others. Over in the 4/6-Cylinder Car Enduro paddock area Steve "The Pitbull" Trimboli, Gene Burbol and Ed Fontana have scored wins with drivers like George Davis, Anthony Bracolina, Robert Endlekofer and others trying to score the win.
